FAVORITE VACATION DESTINATIONS…

I’ve been lucky enough to see various parts of the world with my family. I studied abroad in Australia, traveled through Europe, cruised through Alaska, and honeymooned in Hawaii. Each place has a special memory for me but I always look forward to a new destination.

PERSONAL ACHIEVEMENTS

Of course I’m proud of my career, but I’ve also achieved much in my personal life. I’ve been awarded La Reina High School Alumna of the year, reported on news broadcast nationally, and acquired the best hubby.

ALESSANDRA

After a successful career as a television news reporter, Alessandra McKay returned home to Newbury Park after nine years on the east coast.

The La Reina High School alumna graduated from Boston University with a bachelor’s in Broadcast Journalism. Her television career began as an on-air Reporter at WWLP-22News in western Massachusetts where she met her husband, David. Alessandra then accepted the position of Morning Reporter with NBC Connecticut. Her stories have appeared on NBC New York, NBC Boston, and The Weather Channel.

While in New England, Alessandra participated in a 102 mile bike ride across Massachusetts in honor of fallen police officers, judged the Miss Massachusetts USA & Miss Maine USA competitions, and married David on the most gorgeous summer afternoon.

Alessandra is a certified Pure Barre instructor at Pure Barre Westlake Village, with a specialization in pregnancy fitness. You’ll find her reading outside, playing at Zuma beach, or on the next plane to see her New England family.
